The centre provides courses for university students, workshops and seminars for community in the field of 3d modelling, virtual reality, regional planning, environmental science, etc. The courses for students are realised in both full attendance and e-learning form. The popular activity is field work with mobile stereoscopic unit.

Geoinformatics
The course aims at interconnection of geographical sciences and modern information technologies for data collection and data processing. Students are provided with introduction to photogrammetry, remote sensing, 3d graphics, 3d geovisualisation. Part of seminars is devoted to landscape visualisation using active stereoscopy. In final seminars, the course focuses on practical examples of application of 3d modelling in landscape science. Students are involved in seminar projects focused on practical issues.
3D modelling and virtual reality
The course is devoted to basic issues in 3d modelling and virtual reality. Students will be introduced to computer graphics with emphasis on 3d modelling and visualisations. The problematic is explained on examples from all landscape components (terrain, water systems, atmosphere, etc.). In next step, the course aims at implementation of 3d models in web environment using VRML and other technologies. Finally, students are introduced to problematic of virtual reality.
3D modelling in territorial planning and regional development
The course deals with possibilities of 3d modelling and virtual reality for use in territorial planning and regional development. Besides theoretical knowledge, the course emphasizes students´ practical projects related to decision sphere and commercial sphere. The course presents main issues of 3d modelling. Students are introduced to work with different software products for 3d modelling. Finally, they present and defend their projects.
